my brother has them on his bike.
i've ridden them a couple times.
they're very grippy and ride predictably.
they're probably best suited to xc or not-too-aggressive trail riding.
(tho i may be biased as i'm used to tougher freeride tires)

but yeah, if i needed a tire for that use, i'd definitely get the ignitors.
i think they even won a "best tire" award or something
in one of the mountain bike magazines.
