An what kind of bikes are you guys working on. Most of my bikes are the usual 20-28 pounds but my girlfriend loves this 35 pound montrosity of a Schwinn Varsity. Any issues with a little heavier weight? Most of the stands are "rated" to around 45ish pounds.
I'd love to find a used Park stand, I've been checking craigslist and local classifieds for the past 8-10 months and haven't even seen one for sale. Feel free to send one of those pro level stands down to Atlanta!

What are you doing on the PCS-10 that makes it unstable. I have an old PCS 1 and now a PCS 10 and it is like working in heaven compared to the old one. I have used the old clamp the downtube types, saw horse style, the blackburn one, and the minoura ones too, all sucked compared to this version. The PCS 10 is fantastic compared to those, probably less so compared to a shop quality one in stability, but better clamp style.
Maybe try not to pull the telescoping top as high as you had before and clamp on the seat tube as apposed to the seat post on the heaviest bikes. I experienced some finesse in adjustment initially but once dialed in, use it pretty much all the time I wrench.
My $.02 is all.
