Great, now we're going to have "loud freehubs save lives" crusaders trying to retune their wheels to sound like a Kawasaki on nitro. Invariably, they will be the ones who like to ride through residential neighborhoods at 5AM.
My new bike came with Mavik 4's and wow they are loud. When on a path and coming up behind a "walker" I just stop peddling and they can usually hear me 10 yards away. If I back spin it's like a warning sound and usually spokes them enough to get out the way.
