So you're saying that I don't have any problems and my life is totally easy? Thanks a lot *******...
Hahaha I kid. Thanks for your perspective though - when it comes to fatigue and "freshness" there is certainly more to the picture than your training alone would dictate. Sometimes I forget these things; I'm a new power user so it's easy for me to get caught up and forget the bigger picture.
For a moment I considered not racing this weekend, or really not at all until late Feb. I just wasn't quite where I wanted to be, fitness wise, I thought. But after some more consideration, I realize that I shouldn't just wait for the stars to align with my fitness and racing goals; life gets in the way. Sickness, injury, work stress, relationship stress, whatever - life happens. I slept on it and decided that the time to race is now! Go and and give it what I got.
If things go as planned (training AND the rest of my actual life...), I should only get better as the season goes on.
