I believe my front brakes need some better pads! Cool Stops are supposed to be good?
That's why I changed the gearing. At 52x16 I was chugging along at a speed that I couldn't stop, even with the front end brakes. It took a season for me to get the finesse down and get down to a 48x16. I only had one pedal strike, I was on a small bike for me a 54, with platforms. I was cruising, coming around a corner, the whole rear of the bike lifted off the pavement and slammed back down. It is definately an adrenalyn enducing feeling. I love my 175s.
