just so you know the cost you should check with CycleArt in Vista Ca about the top tube replacement or dent removal. I had a tube replaced and it was 200.00. Of course that was part of a complete frame restoration. They also remove dents. Not sure that one is a candidate. It is worth the time to find out. Then you have a number you can bargain with. It is such a nice bike. If the seller refunds the repair cost you are even.They do great work but tend to be backed up for months.
