I've found this gear to be the best all around for me, I've even done hills on it (with a back pack). I think you need to go sign a pro contract! Seriously. There was recently this big deal with a TIAA-CREF roadie who got on the track with a 108 inch gear and was winning some very large races. And this was on the velodrome, LA isn't that flat is it?
