Hello all!

I'm currently back in Southeastern Connecticut, after a three year stay in Northampton, MA. I own four bikes, although only two are in riding condition. I ride mostly for commuting and fun, and by no means care about the lightest, fastest, or best. I'm a budding mechanic, so I prefer to work and ride on older, simpler bikes.

I'm currently riding a fred-ish early 90s Univega MTB (drop-bar converted) as my daily beast. I've also got a 1980ish mystery frame set up as a single-speed for quick-and-dirty rides. I'm working on building up a 1992 Marin Bear Valley and 1970 Raleigh Sport.

I'm also trying to convert my bike trailer to pup-carrier, as one of my two dogs wants nothing to do with running near my bike (I'd say for good reason!)

I'm finding the change in locations quite significant in terms of riding...Northampton was a utopia of sorts.
