I suppose I never quite got color coordinated. And, nothing quite matches on my old Colnago anymore.
Tires as in the photo, Origin8 Elimin8ers, 25mm

One person on a different website didn't like my tires.

Anyway, the green was cheaper than other colors when I bought them. They do seem to make the whole bike seem just a little brighter. Blue might have been better, but undoubtedly would not have matched the bike color. Maybe yellow (which matches the logos, and at one time matched the cable housings), but I think that may be a bit too much. So, for now, green it is.

Right now, I have a black/grey Marathon on the back, and the green Elimin8er on the front. I'll probably remount the rear, and try to squeeze another thousand miles or so out of the old set next summer.

So far I've done reasonably well with the Elimin8er tires. Maybe one pinch flat in the summer, and a couple of flats in the fall/winter (also had a flat with the new Marathon).

Although the weight may be slightly more, I like the idea of rubber over the sidewalls, rather than bare cords as I think it may protect the sidewalls better.
