This 1983 Raleigh "Challenger" 10 speed (made in Canada) was acquired in mid December for $15 at a local second hand shop. No great bike or components but in decent condition. I had no immediate plans for it.
Later that week a neighbor dropped by to see if I had a bike to sell him for general purpose use around his vacation home. After changing bars and brakes and with new tires and cables it went to its new home this past Saturday. Peter is happy, an old bike was saved, and I have a few extra dollars to support my bike habit.
