Are you being facetious? If you aren't, I don't consider Chris Kings to be crappy headsets. That one is almost 15 years old and has never given me a lick of trouble. I've got one on each of 8 bikes that are evenly split between road and mountain with a combined mileage of 32,000 miles without any trouble nor even any maintenance.

And, yes, it's a shame that Cannondale stopped making touring frames but retrogrouch tourists have this thing about aluminum
