Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

Am I missing something?

Shimano offers bar-end shifters that would fit and nothing special is required to use them, except the adapters that fit over your lever bosses.

I believe they come with the bar end shifters as part of the set along with the cables. If not, they're readily available very cheap, since just about everyone has extras left over from various conversions.
