Bikes: Lotus Legend (1982), Lotus Excelle Mixte (1984), Lotus Classique (1984)

I considered doing the exact same thing with my downtube shifters (arabesque).

Opted for this instead:
Shimano Ultegra 6480 Triple 8sp Bar End Shifter | Chain Reaction Cycles..even better deal with coupon.
