I'm a bit further east. While having the 275 bike path is convenient, biking next to a freeway kind of stinks.
Makes a nice connector between better places though (Hines Dr, MetroParks to the south). And the Lower Rouge Trail is nice when it's not wet, icey, or buggy. http://www.canton-mi.org/DocumentCenter/View/1409

I would think biking on Van **** would be pretty awful. I'm rarely up that way.
