Robbie nailed it. Step 1: Neighbors bike sounds like a winner, DA 7400 is my favorite group. If it fits and is in excellent condition, GRAB IT NOW!

Step 2: Learn to do the work yourself, and refurbish the Faggin. Don't do anything that is irreversible (like repaint). Save the old parts if you replace them, as Campy bits almost always have good value.
