Don't do it. I am a tandem owner and I will tell you one important fact that no tandem owner likes to talk about. A tandem is also known as a "relationship accelerator". If things are good, a tandem can make it better, but and usually more likely, if there is any friction in your relationship a tandem will only accelerate those bad feelings and be come the fast lane towards a breakup.
