For WWI readers and Marines

OK, so recently I had posted a pamphlet of a WWI era bicycle tire ad, and had several responders write that they were interested in that era of history. It's a bit off topic, as no direct bike correlation is provided, but in response I thought I'd throw out a link to my recently posted pic album on Flickr of my visits to Belleau, France and the surrounding area this past year.

Just to keep it honest, here's a shot of the vintage Fuji I rode through the Chatteau Thierry area during one trip, here parked in front of the lesser-known Oise-Aisne American Cemetery (near Quentin Roosevelt's memorial close to where he was shot down in a dogfight with a German in 1918):

I hope to upload many more series over the coming months from other battlefield visits I was able to make. Hope some out there enjoy them.
