I would not take a chance on buying that frame, no matter how the seller described it. Too many ham-fisted owners over-tightening CF for me to trust something like that as cosmetic, rather than structural, especially concerning the seat mast in particular.
That said, I'd inspect by sound -- rap the carbon lightly with the handle end of a screwdriver along the seat mast. If it sounds different, more a dead *thunk* than a sharp *knock*, near the crack, frame would be suspect...
That's what I fear others are thinking too. Someone actually bought it when I first listed it but wanted me to wait until after Christmas to ship it since he was in grad school and headed back to Italy for the Holidays. He even paid for it before leaving and I agreed to wait until he got back. A few weeks ago he said he broke up with his girl friend and wouldn't be coming back to the states and wanted to know if I'd ship it overseas. At which point I refunded his money because the shipping would have been crazy even if he was willing to pay for it, I had two other bidders too who have since bought something else. That's the way it goes I guess.
