Hahaha! I know...my wife is always shocked-- perhaps horrified!-- to see how much I sweat when I'm on the trainer!

And for me, even moderate rides on the trainer (or stationary; I use both) seem just as hard as the actually hard ones, and if it weren't for power numbers, I'd have a really hard time telling them apart based on perceived effort.
