I called all my local Trek dealers looking for an Emonda SL6 but it was a 2 month wait so I just went with the SL8 for only $300 extra when MSRP is like $1,600 different. They gave me a crazy discount on the SL8 and wouldn't budge at all on the SL6. This was September '14 and I got a size 64...
I can't imagine buying a Chinese frame. That seems like a terrible place to gamble on quality to save a few bucks. Frames like the Emonda from a manufacturer that gives a lifetime warranty are not that expensive (for carbon anyway) to begin with. I guess it's all relative...
