So I'm brand new to biking. Old guy in bad shape. I just got a Fuji Tahoe 29er mtb with all Shimano XTR components except the crank is a FSA Moto. The seller had a narrow wide that he kept. It was a 32.

The rear has a 34. He said it worked good for him 32 front, 34 back. But he is young and in shape. The only places I will be riding are beginner courses with very low hills.

Say I keep the 34 in back with out going up. Should I go 32 or 34 in the front. The main reason I want to switch is the large crank gear is bent inwards and outwards. Rubs the derailleur on both sides. Plus I want to be cool. Thanks
