Nothing wrong with this. I have this in my apartment. Storage for shoes and helmets, and the two bins have gloves, head covers, lights, small bits and pieces. The top is now home to my allen wrenches, open end wrenches, screw drivers, a USB light charging station, etc.
That looks nice. I have a fairly large apartment for Manhattan so I'm pretty good with space right now, but I'm going to be moving to Astoria this summer so hopefully I can get a larger place for the absurd price I pay now.
