The right gear combination is what ever gear you're going to start off in when riding, no matter the subform. Parking (and photoing) your bike in top gear doesn't make it look any better or faster, it's just plain goofy.
You're just saying that because your bike isn't a black carbon race bike with black decals and really deep carbon rims.
