Abalone. That there is a risk of injury does not mean that there always will be one eventually. In fact, it means the
opposite of that, that there is a probability that a cyclist will
never suffer a serious cycling injury.
Cycling is about as far from a "blood sport" as we get. It is generally safe, in reality hardly worthy of the old worry perspective.
