The OP, needs to test the
RED in bright sunlight, and in a bright white light. The
WHITE will be no good. Despite the 'effect' the OP is trying to create. I was rear-ended in the middle of the day, while I was waiting to merge into southbound traffic from a dual-turn lane. So I could eventually make a right turn. After that happened, I bought the NiteRider MiNewt 600 for my headlight(I have linked their Lumina 750 which is similar:
Lumina 750 |Store - NiteRider), and the Axiom Pulse 60 (
Axiom Pulse 60 LED Tail Light) for a tail light. Not only do I have motorists' honking at me telling me that my lights are too bright. They are both USB-rechargeable. So, You can charge them from your computer.
