Fitness wise - I am a former runner, but first and foremost a swimmer. I usually swim anywhere from 1 to 2 miles every other day. Between 2007-2013 I got into distance running. I had plenty of 20 mile weeks, and ran a few 5-10 mile events along with lots of 5Ks and one mile runs with the kids. Then I got a bad case of PTTD and traded in running for cyćling.
I am a water sports junkie since youth. My parents have a lake house and a ski boat. Skiing, kneeboard, tubing, bare footing, wakeboards, etc. if you can pull it behind a boat I'll try it. Now that I'm nearing 40 I pretty much only do slalom skiing, but I'll ocasionally pull an old toy out of my folk's garage if feeling bored.
My other "hobby" is building things. Recently I finished the basement in my house, built a loft in the garage for storage, built a work bench and a replica Pottery Barn dollhouse for my daughter.
