Just got criticized by some people because I have a "hybrid bicycle" that I have been riding for 7 years and I told them that it was my road bike, and they were like "hah this guy thinks hes been riding a road bike this whole time" and well I think I do because I do mostly road riding, and the tubing say "compact road design."
They sound like the sort that one might want to steer clear of. For some if you're not kit'ed up in lycra on an all carbon ultra weight weenie mobile you're not a 'real' cyclist or what ever. And if they had an action figure made in their likeness, it would be sold by Massengill. There was once a time when I was one of them but I out grew that when I became an adult.
