i doubt if there is anything actually planned about the obsolescence (i understand it's just a common term and not to be taken literally, so no offense intended), anymore than a beagle with it's nose to the ground is planning on ending up anywhere in particular, it just follows the scent. the scent in this case is the sweet smell of money. and i pretty much agree with the rest of the post, i just removed it because it got in the way.
