After a few more rides the Kappa Evo hasn't been an issue. It was ever so slightly nose-up when I rode it the first time, I tilted it down probably .5-1 degree and it's all good. Rode ~30 miles in the cold the other day and never even thought about the saddle (which is good).
And a small update, even after some fiddling/cleaning and whatnot, I do not like the stock rotors that come on the CAAD10 Disc. I am going to likely swap them out for the SRAM Centerlines that match the Rival 22 Hydro Disc group. The stock rotors are OK until you really squeeze, then they sound and feel terrible. Nothing I've done has made them any smoother for braking. I will keep trying, but I've pretty much given up on them.
They do work really well, but yeah, the rough feel isn't great.
Well... the test ride didn't go well. There was some kind of problem with the rear derailleur. Everytime I shifted to a smaller cog there was a loud clunk and a noticable lash in the pedals. I did not join The Cult this afternoon.
