Thank you all for honoring the life of this young man and fellow cyclist today.

My family and I passed by the accident site around 8:30 the day it happened last year. Without knowing for sure, I got a sick feeling that something terrible had happened to a cyclist. An internet search later confirmed my sad suspicions. Only passing the site occasionally, the ghost bike always caused me to pause and reflect. By coincidence, I happened to pass the site yesterday around 8:30 and noticed the bike was gone and came here to see if there was any reason given (city rules) as well as check on the trial progress.

I sincerely hope the perpetrator faces the fullest consequence for her selfish, foolish, irresponsible act. Fortunately, I found this thread to track that progress. Please keep it going.
