I don't know of any bike that costs as much as 5~6x of a monthly salary that is fat enough to allow me to buy it in comfort knowing that my following month's pay will put me right back on track with regards to living costs, bills, and etc.

IOW, if I took home 50K a month, I'd be pretty comfortable spending 300K in one shot. But I don't know of any bike that costs 300K.

Even a 20K Spesh McLaren would be, let's say, 5x of a 4K monthly take home or 6x of 3.33k, and spending 20K in one shot while on a 3~4K net monthly salary doesn't scream financial sense to me, massive savings and trust fund babies excepted.
