By the way, which pressure do you recommend? Please consider my 200lbs, a 20-25lbs load and something like 80% road and 20% cobblestone. I never used 40mm tires before, so I'm kind of lost here
I'm 190 lbs, and run my 700x42 Speed Ride's all the way up at 85 psi on pavement (loaded or unloaded). There aren't any cobblestone roads around here, but when I turn onto gravel I drop the psi to about 50 psi for a decent ride.
If I'm riding something mixed and don't want to mess with airing up / airing down while riding, I just put them at 65 psi, which is fine for everything other than really rough gravel.
