$40 is about a week of public transit here, so yeah I'd rather keep it as a backup bike chained offsite and take my chances with the bike thieves in case my project miele gets stolen. I've checked local toronto listings before, the sub $50 bikes are always junk brands and often falling apart, at best they "need tuning", a lot need overhauls (parts and labor are more than their $20-40 value). After giving it some thought I'm really not willing to part with it for much less than what I just listed it at ($65), that's only 10 transit round trips and there are parts of this city that I do not want to ride a road bike to...I guess I'll see if anyone is interested if not I'll ride it until I can get the miele on the road in the spring (and probably still keep it if storing it on the public bike rack down the block isn't to much of a hassle).
