I'm in the same boat when it comes to what front rack....
however, I can't afford the Tubus $100+ racks, no matter how wonderful they are. Though I'd love to find the Tubus Tara Lowrider Front Rack for under $60 bucks!
Was looking at Blackburn FL-1,..the various offerings from other companies like Axiom, but read a lot of bad reviews on both.
Maybe a Jandd low rack???....

Not to hijack this thread but, I have a Miyata 610 (no midway braze ons on the forks,..),..so I'm a bit limited to some degree.
