Just tried that. Men's small is baggy in the belly (hangs like a cow's udder when leaning forwards) and short enough in front it can reveal a sliver of skin just standing. Shoulders are snug standing but good in a riding position. The rest is fine.
Castelli have jerseys that fit differently across their product line. I think the tightest is their aero race jersey. They have some that are looser club style, so skip those.
