I'm down with them. I grew up in the 1980s when Don Johnson showed us manly men could wear pink, although we called it salmon so we didn't have to admit to wearing a womens' color.
Womens sizing usually has the hips an inch bigger than chest, waist much smaller than hips.
I tried that. Castelli women's medium (35.0" chest, 28.8" waist) fit great down to the waist, then ballooned back out to cover 38.2" hips which I don't have some distance above where my hips start. Other brands' size charts are similar.
The local bike shop recommended two seamstresses.
If small race cut Volers, PIs, and the Castelli aero don't fit everywhere I'm going to start with mediums chosen for color and graphics then make them fit.
I also ordered an extra small LG (36" chest, 30" waist, 36" hips) but don't have high hopes on length and mid-section fit.
