Narrowed down my search for a tourer to a Kona Sutra 61cm frame 700cc or a Surly Disc Trucker 62cm frame 700cc.
Where I live the Disc Trucker comes in at €1,700($1,900) and The Kona at €1.300($1470) . The Kona is signifigantly cheaper and includes a brooks b17 , a rack and fenders . While the Surly DT has no rack or fenders and a poor saddle .

Im not in a position to sit on either bikes as the shops dont stock the big sizes only to order .

My saddle height will be 84cm from the BB axle to the top of the saddle . I'm wondering will I be able to get the bars up that high on both bikes or will one have a less neutral position with the stock steerer tube ?I have read that the Disc Trucker comes with an uncut steerer tube . I wonder does the Sutra also ? I think that will decide it for me .Any inputs greatly welcomed .
