OK... I think i solved the problem with the shifter...


1. bit embarrassed to say that i had the left shifter on the right side.... yeah. i said i ws new to this! stop teasing me! gosh guys...
2. I also found that part R7&L7 were to thick, eating up the Braze-on post's (B1) ability to interface with the nylon friction wigdgit (R4)
3. Even with R7 removed I found that washer R6 was just a hair to thick. found a slight thiner one int he parts bin.
4. add a touch on lock tight to the screw threads.

seems to be working better.. i will test it tomorrow... if the chain slipping it still happening I will replace the Freewheel with a NOS one...
