Telescopic posts are available on ebay for a varity of sizes. I found race bmx bikes not too bad for medium rides with the seat post fully up. Modern bmx bikes tend to be stunt bikes with lower seats and heavy frames and rubbish (no) brakes.

If you find a modern race bike it will be expensive.
