But you can deny pollution? Crime has gone down in New York and all over the world. A great uptick in crime started in th early 1960s and continued through the 1990s. At this time, crime rates are almost back down to the 1950s level. But pollution continues to kill thousands of pople every day--more than auto accidents and murders together.
