Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

I've used various different brands, and they all work well. You can't go wrong with Cateye.

I have three of those Mach 3 computers. I think I got two at Nashbar. They are very reliable and easy to use.

Since I own too many bikes, I ended up getting a Garmin Edge 200 which uses GPS rather than sensors on the bike. This way, I don't have to maintain computers on all the bikes or laboriously tally up my miles.
