This is a Gyrfalcon, the largest falcon in the world. An inhabitant of the Arctic tundra, this guy has caused a major stir in the Hudson Valley recently by treating us to to a rare and lengthy visit. He's been putting a hurting on the local duck population, so we're guessing as long as the ducks hold out he'll stay in the area.
