The paint looks pretty good from 5-10 feet, but if you look up close, you will see that it has plenty of chipped paint- "patina", if you will. No dings or dents, though.
But I know exactly what you mean, and I agree that it's all relative. I'm too vain (and way too much of a bike snob) to ever ride one of those s----y bikes
