Hello ladies and gentlemen,

My name is Douglas, and I'm new to the forum! I used to love to ride, but the last few years, family and career have meant that I haven't ridden at all. In fact, I haven't had a bike for around 10 years. Recently however, my kids are old enough to ride and I thought it would be an excellent chance for further bonding with them, as well as the increased health benefits that come along with it. My main goal is to get a nice road and mountain bike, for some road work. I'm having a bike shop piece together my mountain bike now, with some parts I picked out and an older Cannondale frame. The same is true for the Litespeed Liege road frame that I wanted back in 1999, and was lucky enough to find a primo example now in 2015. I look forward to putting in some miles on both of these.

Hopefully everyone can tolerate my newbie questions on the forum, as I've been out of the mix for years now, and many things are new to me again.
