Well, if water got in there to begin with to rust it, you can re-get some water in there to de-rust it. Just block off all the holes and fill the tubing up with your water + soda ash mixture and connect one of the wires/clips to some fresh bare metal to the frame. and the other one suspend it at the top some where. you have to move the wires around to, because electricity is gonna use the path of least resistance. Basically start from the bottom, up. Once you get all the rust out, this is a very important step! Get it as dry as you can as quickly as you can, then take some spray oil of some sort, I like using the 3 in 1 stuff, it doesn't smell terrible like PB blaster, and you don't have to deal with the silly straws of liquid wrench.

I got most of the frame apart today.. The crank is currently the only thing left, the drive side is stuck on there some how, the cotter pins where long fused to the rest of the pedals shaft.. Also there is some holes in the other side that I question a bit. Some above may of been right about the frame being to far gone, shame really. At least I got some reflectors and a Seat, and handlebars that are still within a usable range.

I'll have to take a closer look when I head over there tomorrow at the ones I'm picking up, and inspect them fully. I didn't even notice the two holes pretty close to each other on the under side until today. A single hole is fixable. two within about 3 inches of each other, points at the inside wall is too compromised. Now is it impossible to fix? No, you could mig weld 5mm solid wire into the inside, cut a clean slot. tack it in there. and Call it good and either fold/cut some sheet metal or fiberglass patch it. or you could cut the WHOLE section out, and weld some new tubing in there, make sure to chamfer the edges for your filler rod to fall into. then grind the welds flush..

but because I don't really know what this thing is, and if it's really worth all the effort. I'm gonna bet my money on hopefully ONE of the out of 6 frames left there is within a usable range. the house was some guy who hoarded stuff. and he just so happened to live right on swamp land. they all had a tarp over them, but that was crunchy and falling apart itself. and they were all sitting under a tree with an old trailer a friend of mine got, I don't own a truck anyway I got the better of the two deals..
