As I said in another thread, the ultimate tire as far as experience for me has been Michelins. Haven't tried the Pro4 line, such as the Endurance that supposedly has good flat protection and is on par with the GP4000SII, but the Pro3s were just too fragile for me. Pro3s do offer a crazy good ride, though.

Where I think Continental tires have the edge is in tread life. I've never had tires that have lasted as long as those. It's true that some had issues with sidewalls and you'd have to discard the tires before the tread was out. But even though that happened to me once, I still got a crazy amount of mileage on that tire, so I can't complain.
