If you are going to ride the track, you should have the terminology right. That's not a dropout, It is a track end. (Dropouts face forward or down so the wheel can "drop out" for fast road wheel changes.)

Now those front things? A can of worms. To some, fork ends, to others, dropouts also. I say dropout because the same principle applies, the wheel drops out. But I have been told I am wrong.
