Aren't you a bit late with that? My 14-year old daughter went through a phase about 6 months ago when she was using "m8" all the time and once even went so far as to make sure I knew that when it sounded like she was saying "mate" she was really saying "m8". Then there was a transitional period when she used (and said!) "m9" a lot but that quickly gave way to "m24/3" and other variants. I tried to sell her on "m1000" but she didn't like it. Mercifully, the whole thing went away in time.
