It depends on where you live. The NW has had warm and very dry weather. The mid Atlantic had a chilly (below average) January and the potential to have the coldest February ever. Right now it's the 3rd coldest and there are several more very cold days in sight. 2014 for the U.S. was a good bit below average on the whole and so far 2015 looks colder.
