I used to go fishing every chance I could down in Guantanamo Bay. Navy provided MWR boats (20' Carolina skiffs) for rent for about $5/hr. The USNavy won't allow the Cubans to fish in the Bay. So, there's some really awesome snapper, barracuda, hammer head shark action going on. 12' long hammer head look like tadpoles swimmin about 50' down in the crystal clear water. Incredible coral formations. We used to haul in 10lb snapper all the time. As long as you could get em in the boat before the sharks ate em.
